Families, this is the last call to register for our Fall Social Skills Groups for children and teens with Autism and ADHD!
The Group enrollment period will end shortly, so if you’ve been meaning to register, now is the time.
We’re offering three great Groups this time around: School-Age for ages 5-10, Pre-Teen/Teen for ages 10-15, and Project PEERS for ages 13-17.
At present, both our School-Age and Pre-Teen/Teen Groups are nearly full; we only have 1-2 openings left in each of those two Groups. PEERS does have more openings available for teens.
To schedule your required intake, call us now at (843) 792-9162. Within the week, we’ll be making calls to confirm attendance and formally closing enrollment.
A few more notes about Groups:
- Groups are run on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to register!
- Intake meetings are required for all Groups. To schedule an intake, call (843) 792-9162 during normal business hours or leave a message for Lavinia Bowens, our Project Rex Administrative Assistant.
- If you’ve already completed an intake, you still need to call to confirm attendance in the Group series.
- Medicaid covers Project Rex Groups 100%, and most private insurance is accepted. There is also a discount for self-pay.

I just want to confirm that Vincent Hild-Mullins is registered for the social skills group beginning Sept.28.
hi Nancy! I wish I could help with that; alas, I don’t have access to the confirmation list, so you’ll need to call our intake coordinator Lavinia Bowens at (843) 792-0037 to confirm enrollment. Hope that helps!
Hi, do you have any groups for adults with ASD?
Hello Penny! For this fall, we’re offering PEERS for ages 13-17, and later this year we’ll likely offer Adult Group for ages 18 & up. Be sure to sign up for our email list to be the first to know when new Groups are announced. If it’s helpful, we’re also enrolling adults with ASD for several MUSC research studies, particularly Adults with Autism and Depression. (A full listing is available on our Research tab.) Hope that helps!
