Social Motion Skills and Project Rex are teaming up to provide a “Virtual Motion” social skills course for summer 2018. The course is provided by video conference and the evidence-based curriculum will cover these topics:
- Conversation skills
- Coping strategies
- Anger management
- Perspective taking
- Self-awareness
Course Requirements:
- Access to computer, tablet, or phone with an Internet connection
- Preliminary video interview (not all applicants will be accepted)
- Technical and verbal ability to participate in “virtual” group
- Commitment to project
- Willingness to share anonymous data regarding participation for program improvement
Dates (Tuesdays and Thursdays):
June 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28
July 10, 12, 17, 19
Times:
Ages 13 – 15 will meet from 3:30 – 4:15 pm CENTRAL
Ages 16 – 18 will meet from 4:30 – 5:15 pm CENTRAL
The cost for the course is $120.
