Project Rex was a beneficiary of the Pee Dee Area 5K Color Run/Walk fundraiser held in Darlington on June 30th. Project Rex founder Dr. Frampton Gwynette was present to provide information about Project Rex and was featured in the WBTW story:
“It’s awesome. What they’re doing here in Darlington at the color run is fantastic. These are all volunteers. No ones getting to paid to do this. So this is a grassroots effort,” said Frampton Gwynette of Project Rex. Kioca Reed of the Pee Dee Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault told News13 it makes her “feel like we’re working together. Because it takes more than one just to do, to make a big change like this.”
